A. Simply purchase The Weekend West on the promotional dates (August 31, September 7, 14, 21) and receive your Entry Card inside. Each Entry Card will feature a Unique Entry Code which you can use to register online. Then collect any five tokens from The West Australian in the same competition week. Q. Can I enter "Win This Amazing Place" with just one Entry Card?
A. You only require one Entry Card from The Weekend West to register, however you must then collect any five tokens from The West Australian in the same competition week to complete your entry. You will need your Entry Card and your five tokens to validate your entry if you are drawn as a Finalist. The more copies of The Weekend West you purchase containing an Entry Card the more chances you have to register. Each Unique Entry Code on your Entry Card entitles you to one entry. You can enter as many times as you like providing you quote a different Unique Entry Code from an Entry Card each time.
Q. If I am unable to enter online is there another option for me to enter?
A. Yes, if you are unable to enter online then you can follow the mail in registration details on your Entry Card.
Q. Can I enter online and by mail?
A. No, each Unique Entry Code entitles you to one entry only. Multiple entries are permitted, providing a different Unique Entry Code from an Entry Card is quoted each time. You will need to retain your Entry Card and your five tokens to validate your entry if you are drawn as a Finalist.
Q. Can I photocopy tokens from The West Australian?
A. No, only original tokens from The West Australian will be accepted.
Q. Can I use another week’s tokens?
A. No, each weekly token is only valid for that week and cannot be used in any other week.
Q. How do I obtain a Bonus Entry?
A. All visitors attending the Giveaway Home at Lot 253 Blair Street, Austin Lakes, South Yunderup, WA 6208 during opening hours 12noon to 5pm Monday to Sunday from Saturday August 31 to Thursday September 26 will receive a Bonus Entry Card.

A. The Entry Card is a double sided insert placed in the centre of Part 2 of The Weekend West.
Q. I bought The Weekend West on one of the promotion dates (August 31, September 7, 14, 21) but my newspaper did not contain an Entry Card inside. How can I get one?
A. In the event that an Entry Card is not contained within your copy of The Weekend West please contact The West Australian customer service team on 1800 811 855. A replacement Entry Card will be supplied by The West Australian upon receiving proof of purchase of the edition. The only proof of purchase that will be accepted is the masthead from the edition of The Weekend West in which the Entry Card was not inserted.
Q. How will I know if I am a Finalist?
A. Each week 225 Finalists will be drawn at random and 45 names/suburbs will be published in The West Australian each day, Monday to Friday from September 9, 2013 until October 4, 2013. Two (2) Second Chance Finalists will be announced each day on mix94.5 during breakfast (at various times between 7am and 9am) Monday to Friday from September 9, 2013 until October 4, 2013 (excluding Monday September 30, 2013). Two (2) Second Chance Finalists will be announced on Channel Seven each night from Monday to Friday from September 9, 2013 until October 4, 2013 at various times between 6pm and 9pm.
Q. My name was listed in The West Australian as a Finalist, what do I have to do now?
A. Weekly Finalists will be contacted via mail, email or phone by a representative of The West Australian. Finalists DO NOT need to call The West Australian.
Q. How will I know if I’ve won?
A. There will be a maximum of 978 Finalists compromising of up to 900 ‘The West Australian’ Finalists, up to 38 ‘mix94.5 Second Chance Draw’ finalists and up to 40 ‘Channel Seven Second Chance Draw’ finalists. Weekly Finalists will be contacted via mail, email or phone by a representative of The West Australian. All Finalists that then register at the Giveaway Home will be invited to attend the Win This Amazing Place Major Prize Draw event on Sunday, October 27, 2013. Each registered Finalist will be issued with a number prior to the Win This Amazing Place Major Prize Draw event. On the day, five (5) numbers will be drawn at random, those Finalists will be validated and given a code to open the door. The Finalist whose code opens the door first will be deemed the winner.
Q. What if I cannot attend the Win This Amazing Place Major Prize Draw event on Sunday, October 27, 2013?
A. If you are not able to attend the Win This Amazing Place Major Prize Draw event you may nominate a proxy to represent you by notifying The West Australian

Q. Will I have to pay stamp duty or legal fees if I win the Home?
A. The prize includes freehold title to the land with stamp duty, legal costs and fee for registration of the transfer of the land paid. The prize does not include council rates and taxes, sewerage and water rates, electricity, gas and telephone connection fees or any other costs payable in respect of the period after the date of transfer of the land.
